The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) revealed plans to rebuild a significant master sector dividing road at a cost of 600 million, running from the Dwarka Expressway junction with Sector 86 Road to IMT Manesar.
This route will go through Sectors 84/88, 85/89, 86/90, and 87/92. The road is now in a very bad state of maintenance. A flyover at Dadi Sati Chowk in Sector 86 is also being constructed by GMDA with 590 million budget.
The Road Is Rebuild To Decongest The Key Routes In Gurugram
Chief engineer of GMDA Arun Dhankhar said, “The road will be reconstructed similar to Rampura Road, and the tender for this has been floated.” There are also plans to do special repairs on several of Gurugram’s main roadways; bidders will be chosen the first week of August.
Officials said that since the Dwarka Expressway opened, traffic in the region has dramatically grown. Congestion is predicted to decrease when the route is rebuilt. The project has eight bidders, and the contract will be chosen the following month.
GMDA Starts Works On Key Sector Roads Connecting Dwarka Expressway
In addition, GMDA is working on other infrastructure upgrades. A tender will be held for the special repair of service roads that run parallel to master sector roads in Sectors 58 through 67.?360 million will be set aside for this project. Ten businesses have offered their services.
Furthermore, the government intends to construct sporting facilities on the green belt along National Highway 48 in Sector 15 Part 2, which would include badminton courts, lawn tennis, and a mini-golf course. For this development, a sum of?55 million has been granted.
Dhankhar stressed that special repairs will be made to all GMDA roads by the end of December, guaranteeing that the network will be in top shape by the next year.
