- Mass Balancing Reservoir:
- Capacity & Purpose: An 18-acre reservoir with a capacity of 350 million litres is set to become a cornerstone of the city’s water infrastructure.
- Dual Functionality: Beyond its critical function as a major water storage facility, the reservoir is designed to elevate the city’s aesthetic appeal, providing a scenic landmark while ensuring a reliable seven-day backup water supply.
- Utility Tunnel: The project will also feature a 10.7-km long utility tunnel incorporating essential services including water pipelines, electric cables, fire services, lighting and ventilation systems, alongside safety measures such as fire detection and earthing systems.
