Tata Realty has teamed with Tabreed to install cooling infrastructure at its Gurugram, Haryana, commercial complex.
Tabreed, a global cooling service company, has secured a deal with Tata Realty to launch its first Cooling as a Service (CaaS) project in India. This will be proved realistic at Tata Realty’s Intellion Park project in Gurugram with having a 3.5 million square foot IT SEZ development.
Tabreed will buy Intellion Park’s current cooling infrastructure and conduct greenfield expansion to improve cooling capacity, according to a statement.
According to a recent press release, Tabreed will invest a sum up 100 crores in its first project to offer sustainable cooling services over a 30-year concession period.
“We are leaving from the standard market practise of real estate developers retaining and operating their cooling resources through facility management activities.”
Tabreed will provide Intellion Park with long-term, SLA-based cooling services with well-defined criteria to improve energy efficiency, asset durability, system dependability, and minimise life cycle expenses of cooling for tenants,” it stated.
Both partners anticipate that the purchase will result in Tabreed operating as a cooling service provider for Tata Realty, offering District Cooling or CaaS concessions across its commercial buildings, Tata Realty’s MD and CEO, Sanjay Dutt, stated.
