The completion of the Dwarka Expressway and the development of Global City will propel Gurugram to new heights, said Dushyant Chautala, deputy chief minister of Haryana.

“Dwarka Expressway is nearly completed, and the Global City Project is most likely to open in the next 3–4 years,” he stated in an interview.

“The Delhi and Haryana state governments are trying to find a resolution to waterlogging problems in farming lands close to the Najafgarh Lake for the benefit of farmers,” the deputy CM stated. Mr. Chautala was addressing a crowd in Gurugram’s Dhanwapur area, where he had come to attend an event.

Declaring that he would monitor the structure of the Dhanwapur railway underpass to ensure its early completion for the benefit of residents in the catchment areas, the deputy CM of Haryana stated, “He is closely monitoring the progress report from the agency associated with the underpass’s construction and will ensure its finishing point within the deadline.”

In Dhanwapur, a railway underpass is being built at crossing number 26A of the Delhi-Rewari line. The work began in 2019 and was supposed to be finished in 2020, but it has remained unfinished to this day.

“Many areas, including Dhanwapur, will gain from the completion of the Dwarka Expressway,” Chautala added.

According to the deputy chief minister, Gurugram, Haryana has emerged as a favoured destination for investors, with many showing interest in the Global City project.

“The Global City Project in Gurugram is projected to launch within the month and is estimated to be completed in the next 3–4 years.”
