Wave Group Would Invest Rs 100 Crore To Add 35 Theatre Screens

Real estate developer Wave Group plans to add 35 cinema screens at seven to eight new premises at an investment of around Rs 100 crore.

Wave Group opened Wave Cinemas, a luxury 7-screen multiplex, on September 27 at M3M Urbana luxury in Sector 67, Gurgaon. According to the corporation, Wave Group now operates 10 multiplexes with 42 screens.

They have identified seven to eight additional commercial properties that will add approximately 35 screens in the near future. “We will invest around 100 crores in this expansion “Wave Group Managing Director Rajiv Gupta stated”.

Wave Cinemas in Gurgaon has an overall seating capacity of 899 people and is outfitted with cutting-edge cinematic technology such as 4K laser projectors and Dolby Atmos high-definition immersive audio.

“Watching modern Indian cinema is more about hang out and engaging oneself in an experience where every aspect of luxury is essential.”

All parts of the experience, including cutting-edge technology, food and snacks, seating, atmosphere, hygiene, and accessibility, must be immaculate.

 “We at Wave Cinemas understand today’s changing customers’ needs and have tailored our offerings consequently,” Mr. Gupta said in a statement on September 28.

Wave Group, founded in 1963, operates in a variety of industries, including commercial and residential real estate, malls and multiplexes, residential township and land development, infrastructure, sugar manufacture, drinks, power, education, entertainment, sports, and agriculture.
