Nitin Gadkari, the union’s minister of transport and highways, will dedicate the cloverleaf intersection, which connects the Dwarka Expressway and NH-8 Southern Peripheral Road with four-way loops, next month.
After meeting Gadkari and talking about numerous projects related to the NCR area, Union minister and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjeet Singh stated on Wednesday that the cloverleaf was almost finished.
The cloverleaf includes ramps on all four sides and is more than two kilometres in diameter, according to the National Highways Authority of India. One of the largest suctures in India, it is considered to be the bigger counterpart of the cloverleaf in Dhaula Kuan in New Delhi.
The Delhi Airport, the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, the Dwarka Expressway, the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), and the currently under construction Delhi-Mumbai Expressway can all be reached via the junction’s four loops with ease.
When it is finished, inhabitants of Gurgaon’s new sectors will find it simpler to access NH-8 without having to travel all the way to the Kherki Daula toll plaza. Those travelling by car from the areas around Golf Course Extension Road can use the SPR side of the Dwarka Expressway and the cloverleaf ramp to access NH-8 and continue on to Manesar. To go to Delhi, they can also take the circle.
As a component of the Dwarka Expressway project, the cloverleaf was constructed. The motorway’s Gurgaon section is anticipated to be finished this year, but the Delhi segment will take longer.
Its construction is almost finished, and it should be ready to welcome visitors in the upcoming weeks. The Dwarka Expressway project will be inspected, and the cloverleaf will be officially opened by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The ministers also spoke about the progress being made on the Dwarka Expressway project, the Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari highway being built, and the ongoing work on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in addition to the cloverleaf.
