Global Health Limited (Medanta), a prominent private multi-speciality healthcare service provider, and DLF, a real estate giant, has signed an agreement to launch a 400-bed multi-super speciality hospital in the heart of Delhi.
Medanta and DLF both will hold 50 percent of the new company. DLF will be a strategic investor, while Medanta will administer and control the hospital.
The super-specialty hospital will offer cutting-edge medical and surgical interventions in more than 20 super-specialties, including cardiac sciences, neurosciences, orthopaedics, kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplants, gastroenterology, and chest surgery.
According to the firm, the facility will also have a Comprehensive Cancer Care unit, which will provide end-to-end oncology treatments under one roof.
This new facility will help Medanta’s foothold in Delhi’s National Capital Region. Medanta will run its facilities in Gurugram, Noida, and Delhi in a unified way, connecting its existing 1,391-bed flagship hospital in Gurugram, its planned Noida facility (550 beds), and the future hospital in South Delhi.

The company now operates five hospitals under the Medanta name (Gurugram, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, and Patna). Its functioning hospitals cover an area of 4.7 million square feet and have 2,725 installed beds as of June 30, 2023. It is also constructing a hospital in Noida.
