Dilip Buildcon declared that company has secured an order from the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited to build railway lines within the state.
The deal, valued at ₹1,092.46 crores, covers the design and building of a 21.14-kilometer railway line in Haryana that connects Prithla and Dhulawat. This covers ballastless rail, viaducts, and civil works design and construction.
The business stated in a regulatory filing that it had been designated as an L-1 bidder for the contract that the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited had issued on an EPC basis in the state of Haryana.
Project Description OF The Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor Project
The wide gauge double railway line, known as the Aryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC), connects Palwal with Sonipat through Sohna, Manesar, and Kharkhouda. It is used for both passenger and freight traffic.
It would offer smooth access to Indian Railways at Palwal, Patli, Sultanpur, Asaudha, and Harsana Kalan stations as well as to Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFC) at Prithala station.
The industrial hubs of Kharkhouda, Manesar, and Sohna would benefit from this initiative, which will also aid in the growth of this Haryana area.
General electrical services design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning are also included in the project. According to a regulatory filing made by the firm, it is anticipated to be finished in 36 months.

The company’s operating revenue in the same quarter of 2023 was ₹2,876.8 crores, up from ₹2,322.4 crore in the same time of the previous fiscal year, a 23.9% rise. On the NSE, shares of Dilip Buildcon Ltd. ended the day 0.35 percent higher at ₹469.65 a share.
The Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor Project Connects Various Parts Of NCR
According to the officials, the orbital rail will be used to transport people and cargo between the WPE and EPE and other locations in the National Capital Region.
It will also link to a number of multimodal hubs that are connected to the freight corridor and Regional Rapid Transit System stations, among other locations.
The Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway passes via Nuh, Sohna, Manesar, and Kharkhoda on its about 126 km path between Palwal and Sonepat in the state of Haryana. According to authorities, the project is expected to cost ₹5,618 crores.
